🏡 Guest Etiquette & Expectations Our property has been thoughtfully designed to provide a luxurious yet comfortable retreat. To help us maintain this standard for all guests—and to respect our community—we ask that you keep in mind the following: Events & Gatherings: Any event, party, or large gathering requires prior written approval. Unauthorized events will result in fines ranging from $500 to $5,000, depending on the size and nature of the gathering. Guests will also be fully responsible for any city or safety authority fees (police, fire, noise complaints) as well as additional host inconvenience fees ranging from $100 to $1,000, depending on the impact of the event. Quiet Hours: Out of respect for neighbors, quiet hours are strictly enforced between 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM. Smoking & Vaping: Smoking of any kind is not permitted indoors. Outdoors, smoking is limited to designated areas and must be disposed of responsibly. Please note that in Scottsdale, the Smoke-Free Arizona Act prohibits smoking within 20 feet of entrances, open windows, and ventilation systems of enclosed places. Lawful Use Only: Illegal activities of any kind will result in immediate termination of your stay, forfeiture of all booking costs, and substantial fines. While we prefer never to enforce penalties, please understand this is non-negotiable. Shoes Outdoors: To help us keep The Showstopper fresh and comfortable for all guests, please remove your shoes outdoors before entering. A shoe stand is provided for your convenience. Amenities & Furnishings: Our appliances and furnishings are curated with care and come at a premium. Please use thoughtfully and report any damages promptly. We understand accidents happen, early reporting ensures repairs don’t affect future guests. Trash & Recycling: Black bins = Trash Pink/Salmon bins = Recycling Our professional trash service will roll bins to the street, so you don’t need to worry. Please don’t be alarmed if service providers access bins on Sunday (recycling) and Tuesday (trash) evenings. Parking: Guests may park in the driveway or on the street. The driveway is not suitable for heavy moving/delivery trucks—damage caused by oversized vehicles will be the renter’s responsibility. Security: There are no indoor cameras. Outdoor security cameras are in place to protect the property and valuable backyard amenities. Please keep doors and windows locked when leaving. Do not attempt to arm or tamper with the alarm system. Any accidental activation that leads to police dispatch will result in guest liability for all fines (often exceeding $100). Pool & Spa: No glass, food, or breakables near water features. Children must be supervised at all times. Waterproof swimwear is encouraged for children to prevent accidents. Any pool/spa misuse requiring service will be charged to the guest, along with inconvenience and loss-of-use fees if future reservations are impacted. Pool Safety Alarm: For safety, each door leading to the pool has an alarm. When magnets separate, the alarm will sound. To bypass temporarily, hold the gray rubber button until the door is shut and magnets reconnect. Please note: entering alone will trigger the alarm briefly unless the bypass is pressed immediately. Tampering or removing batteries is prohibited. A $250 service fee per battery applies if our turnover team must replace missing ones. Scottsdale enforces strict compliance with pool alarm laws, so we must uphold this standard. 🎮 Special Spaces & Equipment Garage Game Room: Black curtains create a cozy theater-style ambience—please do not touch or attempt to adjust them, as they are delicate. Golf Simulator: Do not move the simulator or projector setup—calibration is precise. Only hit balls directly into the screen. Any misuse causing injury or damage is the guest’s responsibility. Ping Pong Paddles: Four wooden paddles are provided. Missing paddles incur a $250 replacement charge per paddle. Electronics & Accessories: Please ensure all remotes, chargers, and hair dryers are returned to their respective rooms before checkout. 🧳 Check-Out Procedures Check-out time is 11:00 AM unless otherwise arranged. To help us prepare the home for our next guests, we kindly request the following before departure: 🛁 Towels: Leave all used towels on the bathroom floor. 🍽 Dishes: Please load the dishwasher with used dishes and run the cycle before leaving. 🛋 Furniture: Return moved items to their original locations. 🔌 Electronics & Chargers: Return all remotes, chargers, and room-specific accessories to their respective rooms. 🔥 Appliances & Fire Features: Ensure all water faucets are turned off and all fire features, grill, and griddle are fully shut off. 🗑 Trash: Place household trash and recycling in the correct bins (black = trash, pink/salmon = recycling). 🔑 Keys & Access Cards: Leave keys in the designated spot. Lost or unreturned keys will result in replacement fees. 🏊 Outdoor Equipment: Please ensure pool toys, chairs, and accessories are returned neatly to their designated spots. ❄️ Climate Control: Set thermostats back to 72°F (cooling) or 68°F (heating) upon departure. 🔒 Final Lock-Up: Confirm that all doors and windows are closed and locked before leaving. 🤝 Our Commitment to You Your privacy and comfort are our top priorities.
